Members are covered under the Society’s insurance to volunteer, are given advance notice of operations and special invitation to member’s only events, a subscription to Short Lines, the official newsletter of the Society. Members may also serve on the Board of Directors and participate in the annual election of board members. Membership levels are based on your preference.

Recorded on state of the art digital equipment with a custom made, hand-built stereo microphone, these recordings will test your stereo system, your ears, and your neighbors!

Using your Bluetooth or Wireless enabled phone, you can upload the sounds of Nickel Plate locomotive 765 as a ringtone! You’ll receive five tracks of professionally recorded sounds to chose from, varying in length from five seconds (for text messages and other alerts) to 35 seconds. All files are in MP3 format. In the summer of 1982, Nickel Plate Berkshire 765 began her second career in mainline excursion service. "Wheeling" covers the 765 rolling through Bellevue and Orrville, Ohio and tackling the infamous Rat Hole Divison of the Southern Railway.

Life Begins at 40 - dvd

Perhaps the most cinematic addition to the library of 765 presentations, 'Life' covers the original restoration of the locomotive, an exciting doubleheader with Norfolk and Western 611, and the 1984 NRHS Convention with cameras in the air, trackside, and in the cab of both locomotives. The operating crew from the 1980s is also highlighted, featuring a look at the hard work involved with maintaining and operating the 765.
